Hi Guys, and Ladies.
Just introducing myself to the forum.
My name is Neil Jordan and I live about as far south as you can get on mainland Australia, Brrr! (2 hours from snow tracks in winter).
My Pajero (to me a truck has 18 wheels +/-), is used mainly to get me to rivers in our Alps so I can flyfish for trout.
Needless to say the harder the river is to get to, the better!
I am 46 YO, and have a wife & two boys, 22 & 19 YO (can't tell you how old the wife is).
I sell PC's for a crust.
My car is as follows:

It's a 93 NH, purchased in 1997 for $27,000AU, approx $13,500US. Now worth a bit over half that (maybe I'm dreamin'). Compare that to prices you guys pay.
I have signed on to this forum because the info is fantastic, but the banter is better, I particularly liked the 8,000lb wench, (then you do need a "truck").
I've scoured the internet looking at Paj sites and this is easily the best, The Poms look like they treat their's with kid gloves,(bit like cricket, He He) and the locals don't post often enough! (HINT).
The Japanese sights are incredible, but can you imagine getting the milk in something you need a step ladder to get into, my wife is 4'6" ("which has advantages")!
Anyway, I'm happy to reply to any requests re: AUS stuff.
I am usually on line during my work hours, aprrox 14hrs ahead of you. IE: my 10:00am is your 8:00pm.
Neil
