NGK/NTK O2 sensor:

2.6L I4 (G54B) = P/N 24086 (~$45)

3.0L V6 (6G72) = P/N 24129 (~$65)

[Linked Image]

Same function as OEM at 1/2 the price. Got mine through Monarch Products, Inc.. Good people to do business with.

EDIT: BE AWARE that NGK's web page may not always display the correct part number as it has given me the wrong part number in the past. Better to call them at (877) 473-6767(prompt 1) to check again and be sure. (also be warned that their customer service hasn't been the friendliest or most intelligent in the past)

parts needed during my recent transfer case (t-case) replacement, these are the parts the 88 service manual listed as non-reusable:

part number: MD739566
what is it: adapter gasket (between transmission and transfer case -- disassembly step 12 on page 21-14 in 88 service manual), this one felt like some kind of metal, maybe aluminum, as opposed to the old one which felt like paper
vehicle: 88 4-cyl 2.6L manual transmission Montero
price: $2.55 from Mitsu dealer

part number: MD716587
what is it: control housing gasket (between transfer case and gear shift assembly -- removal step 14 on page 21-43 in 88 service manual)
vehicle: 88 4-cyl 2.6L manual transmission Montero
price: $2.10 from Mitsu dealer

part number: MD704159
what is it: housing cover gasket (between gear shift control housing and housing cover for the t-case shift lever -- removal step 12 on page 21-43 in 88 sevice manual)
vehicle: 88 4-cyl 2.6L manual transmission Montero
price: $0.72 from Mitsu dealer

part number: MD704190, two of these needed
what is it: control lever gasket (one is between transmission control lever and stopper plate, other is between stopper plate and control housing -- removal steps 6 & 8 on page 21-43 in 88 sevice manual)
vehicle: 88 4-cyl 2.6L manual transmission Montero
price: $0.90 each from Mitsu dealer

special note: MD701722 which is the part number for the spring pin (roll pin) used to attach the transmission change shifter to the transmission gear shift control shaft, turned out to be too small in diameter to replace the spring pin I took out, so I reused the old spring pin (disassembly step 7 on page 21-14 in 88 service manual) ... it was only $0.73 from the Mitsu dealer, so I didn't bother returning it

had an '88 Montero, then an '04 Rubicon ... sold 'em tho

30% better spring rate than stock, can make for one rough road ride, but good for me because I like to jump over stuff! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Also beneficial if you have added weight up front (bull bar, winch, etc.).

'82-'89 Montero/Raider (D26mm x L50.38") = P/N SWA1726
'90 - '94 Montero (D27.5mm x L53.80") = P/N SWA1736
'95 - Today Montero (D27.5mm x 51.40") = P/N SWA1739

I know that #1726 & #1736 are available at 4x4 Wholesalers (suspension:dodge). Expensive poop! It has been rumored that you can purchase directly through Sway-A-Way.

[color:"red"]Disc Brakes Australia [color:"blue"]Longlife Gold slotted & cross drilled brake rotors

[Linked Image]

9/'88 - '92 3.0L V6 Pajero (D277mm) = P/N DBA229 (specify options, i.e., slotting, cross-drilling, etc.)

10/'87 - '92 2.6L I4 Pajero (D258mm) = P/N DBA232 (slotted only)

EDIT IV: DO NOT order from Man-A-Fre! After waiting for 8mos and being consistantly told by thier customer service that my order had not yet arrived, I learned from DBA that MAF had not ever placed an order for my rotors. DO NOT order from Man-A-Fre!

EDIT V: As of March 2004, DBA does not have the Kangaroo Paw technology available in the longlife gold rotors for our vehicles, although I was told that they are slowly adapting their manufacturing to make the option available on all their product lines.
