hello,<P>recently my idle has become very funky... the cold idle is about 1900rpm or so, and as the engine warms, it comes down to about 1200rpms.... except when i have the brake depressed, then the idle bounces from 1200 - 600-800rpm.. it bounces up and down like a rubber ball... probably like once every 5 seconds. i'm guessing it has something to do with the vacuum necessary to work the brake booster, and perhaps something is wrong with the booster and it is leaking air inside or something [unfortunately i've never seen the insides of a brake booster...]<P>any ideas?<P>thanks.gene.
