lNothing against ya Acidophilus. Mine only ttok me about 30 minutes to swap both of them. The directions that came with the hubs are straight forward. Take the chrome "Auto" hub cover off with a suitable tool (Pliers or strap wrench). Makes it much easier to get to the 8mm socket head screws. Carefully remove the snap ring and the shim behind it (save for installation later). Remove the two 1/8" hex screws in the hub and seperate the hub halves. Place one of the gaskets supplies in the kit behind the new hub base, align the splines and install reusing the 8mm socket head bolts. Using a flat blade screwdriver pry outward on the axle shaft to bring it out as far as possible. Reinstall the shim and then replace the snap ring. using the supplied 1/8" bolts and the two previosly removed, install the top of the hub and tighten. Acidophilus' post about the procedure and the use of the proper sized wrenches is right on. If you don't have the right tools get them. What I'd suggest is a good 8mm hex on a 3/8" drive socket. A ball-end 1/8" Allen wrench is useful to get the bolts started then use the straight part of the wrench for tightening. One more thing, after you drive the truck for a while after you install the new hubs recheck all of the fasteners to make sure none loosened. If I can do it, anybody can. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />
