I also have a 1987 Mitsubishi Montero with Rear LSD. I want to change the fluid in that one with the thinner gear oil and drive both vehicles around for a comparrison. I'll observe and compare durring the next two oil changes. That puts me out until August.

Of course there will be a slight bias, my Raider is a 3.0L engine and the Montero is a 2.6L. But I want to see if there is a noticable difference with running different viscosities. If so, I will post the differences and what I can observe from it. If not I'll post that as well.
