My idling would fluctuate by about 150RPM up and down. The IAC(Servo) is new, 2 months, from a Mits. dealer in LA.
This came around just one morning.
Please tell me where to start looking for the cause.
Thanks.

Check the IAC again, constant flux would indicate IAC, check the o ring and all atachments....

I wiped the pintle of the IAC with a rag moist with Carburator Cleaner. Is it okay to wipe the end(pintle) of the IAC with engine oil?
Thanks again.

I think there is some other with some idle problems, so you are not alone. I`m not that into those and that question, but it could be that you have some problems with your TPS: Throttle position switch. it could be that you have some dirt or bugs where the air are suppose to float, but the MPS motor "07703", this thing is possible to replace, but those at my workshop told me that they have tried that a few times, but with no luck, so they somehow replaced the whole thing, but ofcourse there could be some other problem that is bugging you. But this was somehow just a tip..
