I'm not sure yet if I will be there. I have to be to work at 4:00 am this morning. I will know the work load when I get there.

I'll be there, and I'll take care of the chips.

How does Nacho Doritos, GuacaChips, and BBQ Ruffles sound?

Can't make it tonight. It's picture night for the Tball team and I'm the coach.

For the next AZ trip - or if not the next, a "near future" one -

How about screwing around on the Navajo reservation near Marble Canyon (the canyon between Lake Powell and the Grand Canyon).. we could go check out ancient ruins, cool rock formations like shinumo temple... and of course the amazing pre-grand-canyon!!

Challenge would likely be low so all levels of vehicle and driver could attend without fear, though in my experience up there you'll find a wash or two that require some creativity to navigate and LOTS of fun side options.

This trip would require obtaining Navajo backcountry permits, which are available in Cameron at the travel stop. I don't know the cost but I believe they are reasonable. Also we would be on Navajo land so we would have to respect it - but I know with the Mitsu guys I wheel with regularly that respect for the land is a big part of wheeling no matter where you are - except maybe rocky point <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />

This would also be on dirt that only sees 10 sets of tires per year (seriously!!) so the remoteness and solitude is beyond compare. Nearby side-attractions are the balancing rocks, the vermillion cliffs, tons of cool ruins from assorted eras, and did I mention the frickin' grand canyon?? Not the "visitor center and barrier rails" but the real canyon, where you could drive your vehicle right up to the edge if you're crazy enough.

Destination campsite would be above Kwagunt Rapids .
