I agree that simpler is better, but if you are running the V-6 or fuel injection, it should be a very small job to go into the injection wiring and pull out the ISC wiring and build a control, so that the Idle speed motor could be controlled manually. One huge advantage of this would be that not only could you increase your Idle speed, but you could LOWER the Idle speed when going down very steep inclines. I was going to do this on my motor, but have since found that with my current crawl ratio, it is not neccessary on my rig. The factory put it there, why not use it.

jay, i haven't read that, but did right now..

looks like too much work to make the existing one do what you need, i personally think it would be easier to run a new servo/wire, but that's just my opinion.

bigblue, good idea about decreasing the IDLE, i'll see what i'll come up with when i start playing with mine.

This is available for Jeep Cherokee's and Wranglers with the fuel injection 4.0. Can't find the link right now but have seen them. Had a momentary toggle switch that actuated the IAC to up the idle speed.
