Anyway, thanks for those of you are answering some of the questions. I am soo busy sometimes, it is hard for me to get to everything.

About the R154/R151F combo swap. Talk to ozrunner on pirate. He has done this.

I did to an IFS truck, but we did an SAS right after. The 7M really got him motivated to do more to the truck. You can put the diff back in, but oil pan and pickup mods will be neccessary. This is very possible to do, just nobody has taken the time to do it yet. I don't have any plans for a 4x4 IFS swap, but I am sure I will some day.

A friend of mine will be starting an 83 7MGTE swap this week. He hopes to get it driveable by Saturday. Motors still have not come yet, so it depends on that.

He will be using an R154(turbo supra 5 speed). For now, the 83 will be RWD only. When he gets more money, he will buy the OTT divorced t-case adapter, and get his 4x4 with using the R154. This is just another alternative.

It is better to make torque at high rpm than at low rpm, because you can take advtage of gearing.
