Has anyone researched which vehicles have oil pans that'll clear an IFS diff? How much off is one talking? An inch? Half a foot? Would it merely involve pounding a large dent in the oil pan with a BFH or cutting out a section and rewelding it?

Second, in CA, can one swap in a diesel from the saem (overseas) model (ie, hilux diesel into a Toyota pickup)?
