Well, I wish you were in business 4 months ago, I'd be zooming around in a SupraCharged runner right now. If anything else happens to my reman, I may be making a pilgimage to Utah in the spring or as soon as they give me a refund.
Everything. That is pretty specific, in a general kinda way... So only an engine warranty? No labor? Just asking cuz my current engine is a prime example of needing a warranty, they have probably paid more to fix it than I paid for the engine. Let's say Im becoming paranoid... At least the renatl place gave me a toyota. So it's an echo, big whoop!

Man I wish the weather would break so I can get mine running again.
How about the AC having any luck with it?
I also plan to cut the core and build something new to put a Alum crossflow rad in it. Got any good ideas? I know youve cut a few, and good pics?
JDM or built by Jim (TLC Performance) that is the question I have been working on all winter.

suprarunner, I have a few questions, and I apologize in advance if you've already answered them. First I contacted go motors for a price. From their website it appears they sell the motors as a bare long block, no manifolds, alt, turbo, etc. Is this true?? Do you pay extra for a "complete" motor?? If so, how much extra? Second, do you have a good source that your willing to reveal for the intercoolers? Third, what type of pipe do you use to plumb in the intercooler?? Thanks in advance, Ben

motors come pretty complete. Just make sure you ask that it comes with a turbo. They will say, ok, but they don't warranty them.
Ebay for IC's
I used 3" exhaust mandrels and straits. I might try 2 1/2 to see if I decrease or increase performance. 3" is a bit on the large size, and probably overkill, but who knows until I try to decrease the size.
I use EVCO house of hose to get the 3" silicon hose and clamps. These are $3 a clamp, but these are awsome clamps, and are needed if you don't want leaks.
My whole IC system cost me $500
parts: 6 mandrel bends 6' 3" pipe 12 inches of silcon hose 8 hose clamps intercooler mod for smaller inlet/outlet on ic
It is better to make torque at high rpm than at low rpm, because you can take advtage of gearing. ---------------------------------------------------------------- www.supracharged.com1994 4runner - SAS, 38 TSL's, Turbo 7MGTE swap, Turbo Tranny Dual T-case, D44/D60 ront/rear

Thanks suprarunner for the reply. When you say "mod for smaller inlet and outlet on ic" what is entailed?? And what's a fair price on e-bay for an ic?? Thanks, Ben [ February 27, 2003, 12:26 AM: Message edited by: benc ]

So the OD is huge, and they use a casting which makes it even lager, like 3 1/4+ OD. I just put on some 3" alum pipe that had a OD of slightly over 3"

My 22RE on my 85 4Runner isn't doing so hot. SuperRunner, are you able to get A/C working and Cruise control with the 7M* swap? All that nifty stuff?

It is really strange on how well I am able to wire these things now. When I had first thought about the swap back in 2000, I was always worried about the wiring. I was pretty much planning on paying someone to do the wiring. But now, over time...It is all pretty easy.
A/C will take some custom stuff, but not impossilble.

My major question is if you just splice into the stock wiring harness or if you replace it with a Supra one. Wiring is the one thing I'm really worried about too. What do you do for the tach?
