I put the TRD kit on my 95 3.0 which included a heavy duty clutch and a 5 lb heavier flywheel. It's not true about the heavier flywheel helping your bottom end. What flywheels do is store energy. You put that energy to use when you take off from a stop. So the flywheel really helps in stop & go traffic.
