I have thought about it and decided that when my engine goes, I'm going down to Mexico and have a Chevy 2.2 or Ford 2.2 engine installed. This would make it cheaper and easier to fix. I love the body and suspension on the Kia, but I'm worried if I break down away from home and not knowing where to get parts and if I find a place where to get them, they will be utterly expensive. They'll put any engine in your Kia in Mexico. I would not go with anything larger than a 2.2 because a larger engine will start to break parts and then I would end up changing more things and as someone else said earlier, I am not crazy about spending too much money.
