I had mine welded and the guy tested the housing with 50PSI of air pressure: result was no leakage.
SURLYNKID- Hey, any word on springs? I gotta return mine. I think I need 5-1/2" to work right on a 4" lift. Was going to get 6" but then I have the AOR shackles...

Ed-</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, Helv, Helvetica, Sans">once i punted AOR for their attitude and performance, i have not gotten off my butt to call alcan direct to get that rolling. i think i am going to put in my rear ARB, 4.88's and custom rear bumper first. i also just got my replacement TJM bumper.

You know, AOR tried double billing my CC. TJM??? Did they fix the problem or is it jus the replacement sans winch reinforcement?

double billing. wow. they only tried to add $25 to my original bill of $1001. i got it all back though.
the new bumper is the same. they need my old one back to look over the failure, make new brackets, and then send me the new brackets.

Look what I found today while I was under the truck looking for a place for my OBA tank...... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" /> that is exactly how mine looked. you caught it early and will be fine. have someone TIG it and you'll be fine. they can do it as it sits if you remove the ubolts and pull the brake line away. we just cut off that one clip under the perch and then welded it back. we made sure to get the weld completely up into the sides of the perch where we tied in. mine has been great for over a year now.

My weld has held for over a year now - no big deal. No TSB either...

yeah and that thing is holier than thou.....I need a new cat back but right now.....screw it. I was looking to get a Flowmaster and turn it on edge like surlyn did so I can fit a larger air tank under the truck........
