After breaking my driver's handle one day, I modded the driver's side by aligning both pieces and drilling a hole through them, put a big nail (trimmed to size) in there as a support piece. Expoxied the set together...guaranteed not to ever break again under load...unless someone smashes it with a sledgehammer or car wreck. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I originally tried to epoxy them together without the nail and it just re-snapped off. I knew then I needed some extra support from some steel/iron! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Haven't used the 2nd set that I got both (factory chrome driver and passenger handles) fer $7. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I'm tempted to mod those out before I ever install them so it will have some decent support! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
