we just did trdjustin's on saturday. remove the two nuts at the master cylinder under the hood. remove the pedal. remove the bolt from teh inside that goes through the firewall. pull it out. add stiffening plate to engine bay side, and put it all back together. get the two little bushings as well.

Having just spent an hour under a friend's '95 T-100 trying to figure out whether he needed a new clutch, I am SO glad I found this before he brought it to the shop!! This sounds like it might be the problem - the clutch switch won't engage (the clutch pedal doesn't hit it right, we ended up taping it down); there's a popping noise from the area of the master cylinder when the clutch pedal is pressed and let out; and the transmission won't come out of or go into gear when the engine is running.
