Unless you cranked them just to return your truck to stock height after adding heavy stuff (bumper, winch), I wouldn't recommend it either.
For the reasons C442 mentioned, plus the fact that now you are always using the CV's at a steeper angle. The more angle they are at, the weaker they are.
Even if I put in stiffer bars, I would set them so that the truck rode at stock height...
Just say no to "crank." <img border="0" alt="[Drunk]" title="" src="graemlins/drunk.gif" />

Back to the grill guard.... (aka pushbar with brushguards). Westin's uses bolt on clamps to the bumper and attaches to the frame using the two bolts for the tow hooks. When I put the body lift in and raised the front bumnper, I made a set of brackets that it bolts onto. Most of the support of anything your going to push is going to come from the bumper. Just be sure to use stainless hardware.

What is the stock height of the T-100? Where do you measure from? I measured from the top of the rim straight up to the fender and I have 15 inches with a 15 inch rim. Does that sound about right for stock height.

Cranking to level is one thing. Cranking to level for lift, that is bad news.
Mine setup was cranked too much by the guy that evened out my rear springs (and that is STILL not correct). What results is a "whoopdiedoo" like ride up front. Hit a dip at speed on the highway (50-65mph) and it takes three progressive hits to level out. Not a fun ride after a long, 16 work day. Cranking them down and adding new Bilsteins will (gulp) reduce this problem.
Now my alignment (camber) is out and the outsides are wearing faster than inside treads. And steering is questionable at speed, on those runners made by heavyweight trucks.

You can trim the upper bump stops or get low profile ones from rancho but you have to shim the shocks to correct the travel ( Its not perfect but if you go up just a bit I have not had any problems with my 3 t100's )
