Anyway, this is like the old "keep yer gun well oil'd" rule. However, you got to start BEFORE the rust gets to perforation stage.

Will POR15 help stop this. I think I got the same problem underneath, at the body/frame mounting points.

Well, a least a frame can be easy replaced/welded.
