The heater controls on my 2002 Taco seems messed up. With the dial turned to floor, hot air comes out of the outside dash vents. In fact on any setting lots of air comes out of the two outside dash vents. Does anyone else's Taco do this is? Doesn't seem right to me.
Thanks- Jeff

I'm not positive but I think the outer most dash ducts are to keep the side windows clear, my '03 has some air passing on all settings unless the heater blower is in the off position.
With enough time and enough money ya can fix anything

I believe that to be the case with all of them. I have mine pointed out towards the glass anyway. No matter if mines on the feet, dash or windshield, I always feel it hitting the window. Probably factory to help keep the windows clear. At least in the mirror areas anyway.

Thanks for the replys. My buddy tells me his Tundra does the same thing so I guess it not unique to Tacomas.
