OK, I've got an important question. Are the bellhousing bolt patterns on the 3.2 and 3.5 the same as the GM FWD pattern?

I'm almost positive they're not. The 3.2 and 3.5 are Isuzu engines and not GM engines.

Body Damage is Cool
Jerry Lemond told me a while back that a 3.4 would bolt up to the later tranny. Has anyone ever actually sat them down side-by-side to do a comparison? Jerry usually knows what he's talking about.

I'm also wondering if the AR5 is a close relative of the Toyota R151F. Can anybody confirm that?

I have the spacer plates from multiple tranny variants -- the one for the 60-degree V6 is quite a bit different than the Isuzu 3.2/3.5 V6 plate.

Watchyer back Randy, he's setting you up. (hint hint, think about it. Just because the plates you have for the 3.2/3.5 are different than the 60 deg V6, doesn't mean those plates are the *only* ones that'll fit the 3.2/3.5...)

If you look at Michael J. Wood's website, you'll see at the back of the block it has a "dual" bolt pattern. The inside pattern is the GM 60 degree one.

Come On DAN!!!

I only get to get over on somebody every 5 or 6 years or so. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" />

Thanks to Greg, Dan and Jerry, for the help on the 3.2-3.5 bolt patterns.

Looks like the swap picture includes all 60 degree GM engines. Seems they will all bolt to the 4L30-e

SWAPORAMA!!!!

See Ya
