If you look at Michael J. Wood's website, you'll see at the back of the block it has a "dual" bolt pattern. The inside pattern is the GM 60 degree one.

Yep, Greg -- I see it:

Despite Bruce's prodding, I will remain skeptical about this until I see it actually installed and running. That Isuzu would twin-pattern the back of their motor continues to amaze me -- that's an additional production process that takes tooling and time, and OEMs fight hard to minimize that, generally with little consideration given to cross-applicability in the uncertain future.

Heck, I'd love to be proven wrong on this issue (gotta be specific, because I am wrong pretty regularly about other things, too <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" /> ), but I want <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/coolg.gif" alt="" /> PROOF. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/coolg.gif" alt="" />
When (and if) I see a running example disproving my supposition, I will sit down in front of the world and eat my fair share of crow... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />

Gentlemen, start your wrenchin's <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />
