Has anyone replaced the entire front axle on an 86 Trooper? I've tried searching but can't quite find the answer...
My '86 has the 8-bolt and I need big $ to nurse it back to health: CV's on both sides, lower balljoints, one wheel bearing, etc.
Should I spend the money to rehab that sucker or is there another option? Can I replace the entire frt end with a 10 bolt out of a 88-91 Trooper? I'd love to have the LSD option in the future and I already found a '91 frt end at the boneyard.
What is involved?
