Hmm, I could be wrong, but I think that there are more members here than just 4x4 owners, so I guess IÆm not seeing your point Jim. I do enjoy reading posts on many ôlikeö member owners of Isuzus, and sans the differences in the drive line (and I realize that they are major), the majority of information that I have found here is applicable to 4x2Æs and 4x4Æs alike. It would be a shame if us 4x2Æers couldnÆt contribute, as well as share, in the information found here. Please bear with us that donÆt live in the holy "4x4 land", but I think that there is room for us all. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

You are correct in the 4x2 configuration of my truck, and I do indeed have the BW-T5 transmission, and it does have the correct Dextron III fluid, so no trips to the underbelly of the truck just yet, or at least not to swap tranny fluid.

But, this again brings up the question of if anyone else has tried a shifter swap for a T5 to make it a shorter throwing linkage. The T5 has a roughly a 5 mile throw from gear to gear, and something in the 1-2 mile range would be better ;-)
