What tranny are you looking to swap in? I've got an auto tranny and auto style t-case from an '85 4Runner collecting dust in my garage. The t-case is fine, but the tranny does not downshift on it's own in drive but otherwise upshifts fine and shifts through the other gear selections as normal. Are you looking to swap a manual tranny in, or are you planning on rebuilding your tranny/t-case?
