Hi Alan,

I am using a no-ground-plane style. I run the cable up through the back door on the passenger side. I only put the antenna on when I am traveling with a group that uses cb's. To mount it to the bar I got an L-style antenna bracket at Radio Shack and use wing nuts so that I can remove it quickly. I am not too worried about the cable routing to the back door because I have removed the back seats (no passengers to worry about).

If I was were going to do it again, I would do the same setup that Corey did or the one that notrub did. They both look great and are easy to deal with. Having it on the roof will help reception, it is a pain to get the wires there.

Sport:)
