Looks like the fender mount is the first thing to try. If I put something on the roof, I can just see myself driving into my garage and messing something up. Its a pretty low door so even with a spring mount, somethings going to get marked up if I forget and leave an antenna up there.

I have an idea for a "stealth" fender mount, but need to try some things to see if its viable or not. All I need is some time to finish lots of other things I have to do and would like to do.
