I have a 94 Runner and I got rid of my sag with Downey heavy duty rear coil springs. I am very happy with the results. They fit right in without any modifications needed.

Hey rocky did you have to crank the torsion bars at all to level out the front or was it level without doing anything?

93burton, I didn't touch the front end. There is a very slight forward rake look now but the clearance between the body and front and rear tires look even to me. I also like the slight forward rake look. Again, it is only a very slight forward rake. I didn't want to raise the front end and have to deal with potential CV joint problems.

I'll give you guys something new in the sag area.

I tried to order air bags for my 4Runner from Air Lift from three different suppliers. Neither one could deliver because Air Lift is all goofed (not the word I was looking for) up. They have supply problems.

I had figured for $90 I'd test them out. I friend had some air bags on his Silverado (different design). He hated them because they didn't give much travel and made the ride very stiff even with zero psi in them.

So maybe not much loss. My ride sits level but sags a bit with weekend gear. Guess that's why they come higher in the back from the factory, eh?
