Body Damage is Cool
unless he shapes up.
He is a bully, he badgers our members, and makes those who are not radical wackos like himself feel like shit. He calls them unamerican, shitheads, and other threatening words.

I see him as a threat to our members. I have had a lot of mail about him. I get the feeling that people don't want to post because they don't want him to jump on them. That's harrassment.

If you disagree with me, or if I'm out of line, please let me know. I think the forums should remain friendly and free from harrassment.

here's where I warned him.

Please understand that I'm not mad or emotional, I just laugh at his idiocy. I just don't want him to be driving people away. He's the wacko, not the rest of our members.

wow, he is really crazy, i think he is on crack or sumtin . but i dunno about kicking him off for having a different view than others, i just say make him keep his cool, and that is a good example, just yell at him to shape up, but i would leave it at that,

it wouldnt be fun to have a healthy debate if everyone has the same view point

He comes across very strong, but I don't have a real problem with that particular post.

Everyone needs to show some restraint when posting their opinions, and particularly political opinions, at this time.

I'm not aware of everything jroc has written in the past, but it would seem that you came down on him a little hard for just this post.

Wow...At first I thought you were talking about me. How many more times can I dodge bullets, and get away with it? Uhh...go ahead, and monitor that other guy...heh heh...yeah that other guy...Just kidding. He was coming across a little strong. I think we will continue to run into stuff like this, until a commitment is made one way or another, in the mid East(Washington D.C. or Iraq...take your pick)..Don't get too beat up over this. There will initially be a lot of finger pointing, and name calling. I think us mods should simply try to keep an even hand on things, until they settle down to a mild roar. Probably should try to stay out of the middle of things, and only mediate the discussions. Act as a kind of damage control...Be cool...Mike

I should've handeled it on PM. I somehow wanted to make our policies clear, but it didn't come out right. I cleaned up the post and PM'd him.

Toyota Moderator
Ziad I agree with you about this guy and he gets on my nerves sometimes in the Toyota 4Wheeling Forum, but if we are going to moderate our users in my opinion we cannot scold them for name calling and then in the next sentence accuse them of "talk(ing) crap, no facts, nothing new. just loads of radical rubbish".

Not that I disagree with you, this guy is clearly smallminded but we have to take the high ground. Of course I lost my cool just last week when someone accused Tim at DOA of being a shady businessman, so really I have no room to talk.

I will work on controlling my posts if you will do the same though, the moderator forum is a good place to let loose. And just be glad that you are not Joe and only have to deal with jroc and not Steve!

EDIT- Oops, just saw what you posted above, seems as though you are one step ahead of me, well done.

Thanks for taking care of that, Ziad. We all live and learn....well, some of us do, anyway
