ok so here is the deal.

number 3 cylinder is the dead cylinder. it's getting too much gas. the injector is either stuck open or the computer is sending a signal to it telling it to remain open.

this injector is a new rebuilt injector.

my question now is how often have you heard of the computer sending the wrong signal to the injector. telling it to stay open. i'm thinking maybe the injector is just bad shooting a bad stream or stuck open. i put some injector cleaner in my truck to day with about half a tank of gas. if i were lucky it would fix the problem but seein as how its on the passenger side under the penulum i have no GOOD luck..
