My 35x12.5R15 Goodyear MT/R's are very quiet compared to the 33x12.5R15 Bridgestone Desert Dueler MT's and General Grabber MT's that I've owned. The grabbers were the noisiest, with the duelers second most, and the Goodyears the quietest. I was very impressed with how much more I could actually hear when I replaced the Bridgestones with the Goodyears. Traction seems to be good with the Goodyears, though that truck is now parked for the winter. The biggest improvement I noticed with mudders is getting them siped. Huge improvement on slick surfaces!

My MTs howled badly as they wore, the MT/Rs are really rather quiet, but I do not have more than 10K miles on 'em yet. They work much better than MTs though, in all conditions. For reference my MTs were siped, the MT/Rs not.
