i have done this mod , i have better throttle response , a litttle more oomph, and about a mile per gallon betterfuel economy , after you get used to not putting your foot into , because it sounds so awesome. i like the fact that if you dont like this mod , jsut screw the cap back in and your back to stock. one problem i have found , it tends to stumble around the 1500 to 2000 rpm range in second gear, i have not done any exhaust work yet , and that may be why , i am using a k and n filter, but i dontthink thats the cause , bc i pulled it out to clean it the other day and put in a stock filter while the k and n dried and such and it did the sane thing. but i do love the sound and i feel jsut from the seat of my pants that its got more power and oomph. i did also notice that i run at lower rpms to maintain a speed ( some say this isnt possible , but at 70 mph before mod i was at 3200 rpms , after mod at 70 im at 2900. ) try it and if you dont like the results putthe cap on and run it stock .

airrikk, when you put the cap back on and essentially make it stock, do you have the lull in acceleration or stumble problem, or is it gone completely? Did you have this stumble prior to trying this?
