For the 2001 , 2.7L what is the best brand oil filter that has the flow back valve like the stock Toyota filter? Thanks for any info you may have. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />


2001 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 SR5 auto trans, ext cab,16" Good Year Tracker tires and 2.7 4 cyl. Love it!!
Mobil 1 5w30. Valvoline 75-90 syn in front and back differential ."Keep the shiny side up and your trash out of my woods!"

WIX. WIX also makes Carquest and NAPA Gold filters. MOBIL 1 is too restrictive. In my oil analysis results my wear metals were much higher with MOBIL 1 filter. Best analysis results with WIX, with OEM next.

The nearest Toy dealer to me is 53 miles, Thats why I'm looking for a good filter that i can buy at a parts store. Our local Napa sells my Mobile 1 syn but i wasn't sure now good there oil filters are. Thanks for the replys, Mike

mail order them by the case along with all your other parts needs at the same time.
