Doug, I just sent you a test email. Let me know if you get it.

Maybe you got mad at me a while ago, and blocked my emails.......and then forgot. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

EDIT: Dammit, it got sent back as "undeliverable" again!! Whats up with your email, man?

Get the Locker. My locker has gotten me through a lot of rough terrain, and the 2 times I got stuck I was with others and they just strapped me out once and winched me once. If Iam alone, I just take it a little easy to avoid stucks.

Ok then, with a stock LSD, the wasted $$$$ not doing the 5:29 at the same time, and the inherant slick, sometimes impassible nature of popular areas out there, I say go winch first.

Get the winch! My no waste upgrade plan follows:
open r/open f = rear locker
LSD(or locked)r/OPen f= winch
LSD r/open f /winch = front locker
LSD r/lockf /winch = rear locker (sell LSD on ebay)
lock/lock/winch = SAS w/locker (sell front locker to friend)

My vote is for neither.
You already started doing the 5.29's right? But was waiting for the $$ to finish it??? Well, finish that project, then look for the next one (which in my opinion would be a locker).

Two MRI's and a CAT scan....it's confirmed. I'm just not right in the head.

The 5.29's are a package deal, even if I do buy the rear gearset, which should be by the end of the summer, I will sit on them.

I am going to put them in with a front detroit, and a rear arb OR factory locker. No sense in taking the diffs apart twice, for both front and rear.

Going along with that logic I should probally just wait for the locker, and get a winch.
