I am a long time lurker and a first time poster. Is this deal still going? I would like to get a panhard bracket. Thanks.

Ok guys, lets keep this thread going because with enough interest shown I think Cornfed Suspensions would be willing to mass produce these. I know the issue is being debated there as it stands so please keep posting if you are interested. I need some numbers.

I just bought a panhard drop bracket from ProComp for $42 last week. First I called 4wheelparts, and a salesman told me that they couldn't get it because ProComp only had complete kits at the moment and I would have to wait a long time for an order for the individual part alone. So I called ProComp directly and asked, and they sold me one no problem. Hmm, at only $42, maybe the profit wasn't good enough for the 4WP guy to bother? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />
I'm happy with it, it drops further than the Downey one, 3" instead of 2". Also I'm experimenting with "adjusting" it by putting washers between the top mount hole of the panhard bracket and the hole you drill in the existing frame bracket. I think I'll be able to change the position of the lower hole that the panhard bar now attaches to by doing this. The bracket will basically rotate slightly on the middle hole axis. Move the top to the left with washers as spacers and the bottom moves to the right thereby changing the connecting location of the end of the bar. Wish I had a pic to explain, I'm still tweaking it.

Oops, sorry my mistake. I've never seen the panhard/bracket on the 3rd. How's it different? I'll have to find one and take a look.
