I have done some searches but came up with nothing of real substance.....

Does anyone have any info on ecu swaps across different yrs and such?

I have a '92 V6 5speed(r150f). My ecu seems to like to corrode when water hits it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

I am looking for a used ecu but need to know what will work and what won't. Anyone? Anyone?

Does anyone have any links or info!

They do make a diffrence.. (so I am told.. I have never tried to install the wrong one though..)

BTW, I have one from a 90 x-cab v-6 for sale.. The part number on it is 89661-35351 $125, let me know what your # if you would.. I also have a 92 4Runner but have not had time to look and see if they are the same But would love to know if yours match my truck or this computer..

PS, I looked at the photo for the computer for the 95 listed above and if you look at his it has diffrent # than mine, and on the bottom of the sticker it looks like it has a count of the pins that are used mine is 10p / 18P / 24P
and his start off with a 25P If I remember corectly, so something tells me there is a big diffrence there..
PS, see my post/reply about waterproofing the ECU..

89661-35710 26p-16p-22p

I am going to pull mine out and check for corrosion again. I am not even sure it is my ecu yet....
