Mark, Gald your in here, Maybe you can help both of us. The plugs he has in his 2.7 l are the double electodes as you picture above but the book does not call for them for the 2.7. It calls for them for the 6 cyl with the number stated above. He states that it runs better than the single electodes but i was wandering if it's going to burn the piston heads or anything?

Your right, when we look at the 2.7L listings on sparkplugs.com ( http://www.sparkplugs.com/results_app.asp?productTypeID=1&AAIA=1375332 ), it doesn't show even one with a double ground electrode.

I just don't know enough about plugs to comment on the effect of using one like this. Awhile back, one of the S/C 4Runner guys was using a triple ground plug, but I never heard how that worked out.
