Some of the coolest swaps have come about due to the universality of Aisin transmissions. There are a few Marlin-adapted second-gen Amigos rolling around with 3.2s backed up by Toyota trannies and transfer cases... but I'm not aware of anyone who's actually connected the dots to run a 60-degree V6 and a Toyota together with a stock bellhousing.

George made his own bellhousing, and I have modified two existing bellhousings... there are ways to do this, but you've gotta be prepared to cover new ground and work through a boatload of details, or have someone available, like Marlin, who will do the heavy lifting and adapting after you do the initial research.
