Anyone know if a 2nd Gen. Rodeo console/arm rest will fit a '97 5spd 4WD? Those cup holders sure would be nice. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

I have that same problem so what i did was I got one of those cup holders that you put on your window. Cut it, painted it and screwed it front of the change bin. But I will eventually go tuffy console.

Your friend's '96 probably has the same console as my '97. If so, the cupholder is underneath the arm rest pad. In order to use it you have to have nothing in the storage space and leave the armrest pad up. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

At least the '98 and up have the cup holders where they are functional.

The cup holders are ok....yeh..uh..ok on 98 rodeo...

and use the "rodeo" cups in the morning <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />
<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" /> that wil "p---" (upset) off the wife she has 3 speciallty cups that fit the holders all normal cups will not fit.I have found this out the hard way <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />
Isuzu needs to sell "rodeo"cups...she says"catipillar cups

I bought the perfect cupholder from a guy named "Tom in Roswell" from the old v-mag boards several years ago. He had a friend that had an injectiong molding facility I believe and was able to fab a few of these up. I think I purchased one of the last few made, before they ran into problems and were no longer able to produce.

The texture is the same as factory materials, and the color is almost an exact match (although this pic makes it look a little off - guess due to camera flash and material differences. It just drops right into place under the e-brake. Is a tiny loose, so I just plopped a dab of that yellow easy-release modeling clay on the bottom and it's snug as a bug. This was a pic I took when installing my cb, so it's not centered on holder, but I'll try to get a better one later.

(ignore the piece) <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Now, there's no way I'd ever get rid of this holder while I still own the rodeo, but I thought this may give some of you guys some ideas if you have the technical ability to fab something up like this.
