Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has this problem. We just bought a 2000 Tracker and the transmission is a little touchy. If you downshift too quickly from 5th to 4th or up shift too quickly like from 2nd to 3rd the gears clash. No big deal, I go easy on it anyway, and either double clutch or slipshift it and it's fine. A mechanic friend has an Alldata program and on it, it shows that there is a TSB from Chevrolet stating that there is a rebuild kit for the tranny. They replace the syncros and put in larger springs, I'm not sure exactly what they are for I'm not a transmision expert . Have any of you had this problem and did any of you have the dealer rebuild the transmission???? I don't know, I always thought of transmissions and differetials as something that only a professianal should touch, way too easy to mess it up, I'm willing to live with it, it's no big deal, I just wonder if it's going to get worse and take a on me somewhere, any info and feedback would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks, Dave
