I did see Marlin's shifters. I thought maybe I could make one, or even just do a little bendy action and just trim the sheetmetal a little. More important is getting the 23 spline input. I'll get around to it when the W gives me more grief and/or I get a little more time to futz around with it.

An Aisin tranny based on the W56 called the AX-15, I believe, was also used behind some 4.0 Jeep motors. Actually, the AX-15 is related to the R series of transmissions and not the W56. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/nana.gif" alt="" />
