Ther's no getting around a stiffer ride if your gonna use springs for lift . If you want to maintain a mushy suspension while gaining lift you could try going the spring spacer route <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />. I too had pondered this very issue and thought the factory ride was a bit too mushy. I am glad I listened to Matt @ Indy 4x went with the 912's and softride shocks. You can do a lot of suspension "tuning" by the type of shock absorber you use.
