Need a Spot
|
About every 2 weeks my 86 4runner turns over but wont start .It has no spark out of the coil . I smell fuel so I believe there is fuel pulse . This happens cold then starts . today after about 2 hours trying .there are no codes in the computer . thanks

first thing i would do is check the ignition coil. your haynes/chilton manual tells you how to check if she is within spec.. You will need a multimeter to take some resistance measurements.

Sounds like the pickup for the ignitor is going south. Try this for your 1st replacement part, as the ignitor costs $$.
