Tom, I think what he's trying to say is you don't need most of the SSTs specified in the FSM. There is nothing special about a lot of them to begin with (they're regular tools). For others you can substitute something else or do it another way if you understand what the SST is for. Others you can build yourself,like the rear axle bearing removal SST I made.
