If anyone knows...

Just tried to pass emissions but its idling too high. Before I take it in somewhere. Is it just a screw to turn to adjust the Idle or what do I need to do just to turn it down?

Its an 88 Trooper with the 4cyl 2.6L Fuel Injected.

Oh and while im asking questions.. where exactly in the O2 sensor switch.. I replaced the sensor but need to reset the switch. I know its behind the dash.. but is it ON the back of the speedometer?

Thanks!

Hmm... Not sure about trooper, but the screw for the idle should be around the intake. Mine is on the top looking from the back of the engine (sorta). It's a big (about dime size or a tad smaller) flat head screw.

To reset the computer, just unplug the battery for a minute should do it.

Well, hope the more experienced fellows here will answer your question.

Thanks, Im going to go take a look at that.

Im pretty sure its not possible to reset the O2 sensor from the battery.. cos it has been disconnected recently.

Body Damage is Cool
I was told that there is a switch on the back of the dash, not sure where.

On the Amigos you have to take instrument cluster out and move a screw from one hole to another to reset.

Sorry I can't give you better info.

Try using the search feature search for 'O2 sensor'
