Does any one have some how to tips for removing the door panels on a 2002 Double Cab?

The Tacoma has different arm rests and doesn't have the button on the back edge of the door...

Probably the same as any. Put a rag behind the window crank and pull out the clip that holds the crank on. remove the armrest,Remove the door latch . Pry the panel off with a screwdriver or something. Be gentle. Do the bottom first , then sides. When sides and bottom are all unclipped, the panel should be able to be lifted up and pulled off. If it has a corner button remove it too. It should be very easy.

A couple of tips for door panel removal on a 2002 Double Cab with electric windows and locks.

Follow the steps in the link above. Don't remove the arm rest, it comes off with the panel. Slide the latch toward the front of the truck. It locks in by two hooks. Remove the panel without dettaching the latch mechanism by lifting the panel vertically until it comes off the window opening and the lock. Pass the latch through the panel. You will need to rotate one end of the panel up slightly to do this.

Once I figured out this it took ten minutes to remove the other panel. I'm not going to tell how long the first one took...

Wow! Nice link and some good advise. I just purchased some pre-cut window tint for the front doors. I was wondering how to get a clean look (behind the glass moulding) without too much trouble.
