A couple of tips for door panel removal on a 2002 Double Cab with electric windows and locks.
Follow the steps in the link above. Don't remove the arm rest, it comes off with the panel. Slide the latch toward the front of the truck. It locks in by two hooks. Remove the panel without dettaching the latch mechanism by lifting the panel vertically until it comes off the window opening and the lock. Pass the latch through the panel. You will need to rotate one end of the panel up slightly to do this.
Once I figured out this it took ten minutes to remove the other panel. I'm not going to tell how long the first one took...
