Sorry to hear about the misfortune. I have only ordered a few things from ebay but haven't had any thing like that happen. I hope you can fix them.

Good Luck - Chris - VA

I dont think Ive ever seen a link in a feeback line...worth a shot. I was actually talking to the wife last night about your situation and mentioned it would be cool if you could do it like that. Give it a shot...and since the guy is adament (sp?? of course) at being a Richard Cranium on the whole subject fire away....but do it tactfully. I cant count how many times I have skipped by an auction because I see FeedbackWars the seller has participated in. Just keep in mind what I said- he has the chance to respond to any feedback you leave. hehehe but if anyone sees them pictures...this guy better prep his coffin for comfort. You are a creative individual and seem to have plenty of grey matter in your melon...do what you think is right Shawn, but be prepared for retaliation.

PS-Still a damn shame in my opinion.

LOL Darin! I had a professor in college whose first name was Richard, and we called him that! He was about as sharp as a marble.

Shawn, sorry to hear about all of this. I bet if you followed Ken's (BoostedInline6) writeup on how to redo aluminum wheels, you'll be happy with the way they turn out. A little elbow grease, and you'll still be out much less than you were if you had to buy 'em new. Good luck man, I hope the feedback has the effect you want it to.

You know you want the bling factor!

Seriously, I get complements on my wheels all the time. I did my first pair of SR5 wheels back in 1995 and they still look great. If things don't go the direction you want with the ebay seller, then polish them and they'll look better than new.

Great idea, the reader can just cut and paste your link and see the whole scam this con-artist is pulling.

I can't think of anything to add but you may want to white out your NY plate # in that one picture of your truck though just in case this guy is a murderer as well as a con-artist.

Dunno what to tell you, he did say, "The clearcoat is coming off", technically he TOLD you. I agree the pic is misleading, but might be better to just take the hit and move to the refinishing. No sense fighting over it. You could leave neutral feedback, "Picture did not show extent of damage"

Dude did you see those rims? Neutral feedback? That was not just clear coat coming off, that is serious oxidation that was intentionally not shown or mentioned in the ad.

My wheels don't even have a clear coat and they don't look anything like that.
