No, you need to read this thread a little closer, and do some searches on pirate4x4.


If you just swap rotors from your 86, two things right off the bat will not line up. First off, your caliper will not bolt onto the knuckle because the hubs on your 85 are different, and it will position the rotor in the wrong place in reference to your caliper. Secondly, the inner wheel bearing seal on your IFS hub body is not the right size for your larger diameter solid axle spindle, so that will need to be changed out.


Do like both OOPS and I said already, get some 80-83 FJ40/60 rotors and then you can use your IFS calipers. Or, spend the money on the IFS wide axle kits linked above and gain some extra width and use your IFS rotors, hubs, and calipers.
