Body Damage is Cool
With the console, even though you took it off you may still have to trim out around the shifter pattern a little to make the shifter go all the way in. A dremel or a grinder or even a file may work but I think you'll have to get grinding. As for the lean to the drivers side.....Did you remove the front bumper? Is the whole thing leaning or just in the front or just in the rear? Did you remove the front bumper first? I was thinking that maybe you did the same thing I did. I never removed the front bumper and it's hanging up on the body and holding the front end up in the air a little more than it should. Do you have any trouble closing the hood? Do the doors close a little hard. If so then maybe this could be the cause of the lean.

I took both of the bumpers off and redrilled the fron bumper tp raise it back up to the body. It appears that the entire rig is leaning to the driver side. Maybe I need to lift the Sporty back up and reset all the pucks. As far as the 4 wheel shifter goes I can move it in and out of 4 wheel with no problems. It just pops out of 4 wheel high. I had a CJ that had a similar problem after I did a 4" suspension lift. It was the boot that was giving enough resistance to pop it out. That rig had over a 100,000 miles on it and I figured there was enough wear in the transfer case to create the slop. Just thought this shouldn't happen to a vehicle with less than 20,000 miles.

everyone who has done more than 1" of body lift has had to do something about the 4-high position. some removed the little panel underneath and trimmed it, some just used a dremel tool to make a little dent in the floor hump for it to shift into as well as cutting the center console panel a little. i just never use 4-high anymore. it is a consequence of doing a body lift because of how far back the shifter moves for the t-case when you shift it into 4-high. as for the lean, if you tightened all the nuts properly and all 8 body lift blocks are in, i can't tell you what it might be. hope you dismounted the power steering reservoir and loosened your airbox hoses prior to install. possible maybe something is too tight? just check everything again, because if it leans at all, it should lean to the passenger side due to the weight of the t-case, battery, gas tank, front diff, intake, etc. all on the passenger side.

one more thing, if you're using roger brown's blocks, remember that they absolutely have to go on top of the bushing and uder the body, the order should be: body floor, block, bushing, frame, washer, nut. if this is out of order at all, you could have a problem like leaning.

Well I guess I deserve the dumbass of the week award. My front right tire was very low, it went flat today at work and after I aired it up the Spoty sat perfectly level! Really didn' notice it being low until it went all the way flat. Those six ply mud and snow even at 0 preassure still keep the rims well off the ground!

Well...at least that's good news!! It funny how you miss stuff like that cause you're thinking something you did was wrong.(body mounts) And you're so intent on finding out why it's wrong that you don't look at anything else smile
