I didn't notice any power gains either.


I run a electric fan. I noticed my truck hardly ever even got to running temp (factory gauge). I thought about replacing the fan clutch but decided to go electric. I installed mine on the grill side of the radiator (some cutting required).

Benefits.
1. The fan only runs when needed (almost never).
2. Very easy belt replacement now (no fan in the way).
3. VERY slight increase in power VERY SLIGHT.
4. You can turn it off for water crossings.
5. More room under the hood for most engine related work.
6. Faster engine warm up.
it was also nice when i did my body lift to keep the radiator in its stock location with the electrick setup
